We're getting Jacksons fever this week! Lots of news doing the rounds. Whichever way you look at it, it's nice to see some buzz around these fantastic albums. Yes, we always want more - and we deserve more, right? That's another topic - but this is pretty great in my opinion.

Triumph (1980)

Recorded and released in 1980, every song on the brothers’ fourth studio album for Epic, Triumph, was produced, arranged, written and composed by one or more of the Jacksons. Triumph peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200 while becoming the group’s first album to hit #1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart since 1971. Triumph was certified RIAA Platinum in December 1980 and nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1981.

The expanded digital version of Triumph includes the original album plus 10 bonus tracks: 3 new remixes of “Can You Feel It” (including the Jacksons x MLK Remix*, the Island remix and the Kirk Franklin Remix); “Can You Feel It” (7″ Version); “Lovely One* (7” Version); “This Place Hotel (a.k.a. Heartbreak Hotel)” (7″Version); “Walk Right Now” (7” Version); “Walk Right Now” (7” Version Special Remix by John Luongo); “Walk Right Now” (12″ Version John Luongo Disco Mix)*; and “Walk Right Now” (12″ Version John Luongo Instrumental Mix).

Victory (1984)

The group’s fifth studio album for Epic Records, Victory, was released July 2, 1984 and is the only album to feature all six Jackson brothers–Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, Michael, Randy and Tito–performing together officially as The Jacksons.. The album peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 while its biggest single “State of Shock” (featuring lead vocals by Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger) reached #3 on the Hot 100. Victory was certified RIAA Double Platinum in October 1984 and has sold more than seven million copies worldwide.

2300 Jackson Street (1989)

The group’s final studio album, 2300 Jackson Street, released May 30, 1989. The album’s title track celebrated the Jackson family with musical contributions from all six brothers as well as sisters Janet and Rebbie; it’s Michael’s and Marlon’s only appearance on the album which included other tracks featuring the other four Jackson brothers. 2300 Jackson Street has sold more than half a million copies worldwide.
